Engineering & Transportation
Everett Clay Associates (ECA) has participated in a significant number of major joint ventures with engineering firms on major projects ranging from mass transit communications to feasibility studies for solid waste management.
Firm president Dana Clay worked with the Kaiser Transit Group for several years implementing a public participation and public information model that was an important factor in Dade County receiving a $900 million federal grant to build the first phase of Metro Rail. She also worked on an extensive project near Lake Okeechobee with Black & Veatch to build a coal-fired power plant.
The firm also participated in a UMTA/DOT/MTA project which became a national model for special route promotions and provided inaugural ridership studies, public relations planning, promotions and marketing activities for the introduction of South Florida's Tri-County Commuter Rail Service now popularly known as "TRI-RAIL."
ECA, a certified and registered MBE/DBE, has been invited to participate in RFPs with such representative firms as: Black & Veatch; Keith & Schnars, Inc.; Barr Dunlop & Associates, Inc.; Spillis/Candela; Roy F. Weston, Inc.; Gordon Fay Associates, Inc.; Reynolds, Smith & Hills; Port of Miami; Florida Power & Light; Carr Smith Associates, Pacific Enterprises and Air Products, Inc.
