Home Depot

Challenge:

  • Provide media support for Home Depot’s "Hurricane Expo," a community event designed to help residents prepare early for hurricane season.

  • Foster a positive image for Home Depot stores locally and nationally, including the Hispanic market.

  • Promote Home Depot as a good corporate citizen through its involvement with disaster preparation and relief.

  • Generate public awareness of hurricane season and the need to prepare in advance.

Approach:

  • Drafted press materials and contacted media in advance of June 1st to promote the event and Home Depot’s involvement.
