For over half a century, ECA has been actively involved with residential and commercial real estate, land development, tourism, as well as resort and travel communications. Agency assignments have been in South Florida as well as throughout the United States, Europe, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean. The firm has been actively involved with the media on stories in the press involving land development, leasing and general real estate issues.


S&K Realty

Worked in conjunction with The Rockefeller Group Development Corporation (RGDC) and The S & K Group (S&K) to announce the formation of a joint venture to develop a first-class, mixed-use business park at the Palm Beach Park of Commerce, in Palm Beach County, FL. The project, called Rockefeller Group Foreign Trade Zone/Palm Beach, occupied 171 acres within the 1,243-acre park and complemented existing facilities owned by Walgreen's and General Motors, which already had established a significant presence at the site. Also handled leasing announcements on S&K's office parks, press coverage for their mitigation bank and awareness for management services.

Heitman Retail Properties
Provided community relations strategy and increased communications to surrounding neighborhoods adjacent to The Falls shopping center prior to the groundbreaking of Macy's. Augmented internal marketing staff with media relations for special holiday events.

The Graham Companies
Implemented comprehensive programs for Miami Lakes, Miami Lakes Properties, Miami Lakes Development, Miami Lakes Inn and Miami Lakes Golf Resort & Athletic Club.Initiated media relations, brother events, sales events, seminars and written support materials.

Firestone Development
Conducted all public relations, communications and marketing activities for Grand Prix Farms and other Firestone residential and commercial properties.

The James Boyett Company
Designed and implemented marketing strategies to position Blue Lagoon and other projects to local and national tenants. Aided in the public relations element of the D.R.I. process.

Fininvest America Corporation
Implemented successful image programs for selling Fininvest projects throughout Florida, including resort communities, office parks, townhomes and condominium developments.

Bayside Properties, Ltd.
Provided counseling on environmentally sensitive endangered lands and water quality for the news and editorial media. Worked with Audubon Society, Nature Conservancy, Friends of the Everglades and other environmental constituency groups.

General Health, L.P.
Supplied continuing counseling for various real estate and medical projects.


Blue Lagoon

Created publicity opportunities, marketing support materials, newsletter, events and positioning advice.

The Regency Group
Provided public relations and events for the Douglas Entrance, Barnett Bank Plaza, Regency Executive Park and other South Florida projects for the Jacksonville-based developers.

Arbor Shoreline Office Park
Designed marketing materials and selling strategies for the 10 building, 369,000 sq. ft. Clearwater project.

Clark Biondi/Grubb-Ellis
Worked to create media and business opportunities before the company was sold. Aided in transition and name change activities.

The Keyes Company
Conducted a thorough audit of all publicity and promotional activities. Wrote and implemented executive plan of action for increasing business through media opportunities. Implemented for three years resulting in thousands of dollars of free media exposure.


The Stadler Corporation

Provided counseling on positioning the Stadler Companies, as engaged in both residential and commercial activities. Wrote all collaterals, designed ads, created events, and organized community relations programs as well as publicity opportunities for new offices.

The Babcock Company (Weyerhaeuser Company)
Provided corporate public relations using executives as spokespersons for the real estate industry. Also wrote residential and commercial corporate newsletter for distribution to the business community.

Key Colony
Reviewed and redesigned new marketing and advertising strategies. Created collaterals, organized and implemented special events. Wrote and distributed direct mail pieces and newsletter to residents.


Premier Resorts & Hotels
ECA represented Premier Resorts & Hotels throughout the southeastern part of the United States. ECA had the responsibility of obtaining media coverage for its three properties in the Dominican Republic: Casa de Campo, The Hispaniola Hotel and The Hotel Santo Domingo. Firm acted as a liaison between Premier Resorts & Hotels and the City of Coral Gables, involving its acquired property, the luxurious 270-room Biltmore Hotel.

British Airways
Retained to increase travel from Miami, Orlando, Tampa and Atlanta on the London- based company's 747s and supersonic Concorde. ECA worked with local, national and international media.

The Biltmore Hotel
ECA was responsible for increasing awareness of the Biltmore Hotel worldwide through the use of media placements. Broadcast, as well as various means of print media (i.e., magazines, newspapers and trade publications), was used. Firm advised management at The Biltmore Hotel on special promotions and community relations activities. ECA also acted as liaison with the City of Coral Gables Commission which was the lessor of the historic hotel.

The firm did work for the "I Love New York" campaign and the Bahamas, as well as work for Duck Key, The Country Club of Miami, Andros Beach Hotel & Villas and The Forest.
