ECA has assisted a variety of companies in the retail and consumer sector with new product launches as well as crafted effective public relations campaigns for established brands and services. Programs are executed with a client's overall business and marketing objectives in mind. By highlighting the tangible and intangible assets of the companies we serve, we are able to generate positive media exposure on many levels.

LOCAL REPRESENTATION
For seven years, ECA served as The Home Depot's Florida agency, representing the home improvement giant's 141 Florida stores, which span from Key West to Ft. Walton Beach in the panhandle. ECA successfully promoted the company's products, people, events and community outreach programs by employing our local expertise to execute nationwide initiatives in our territory.

Other experience with national brands includes handling the media outreach for Red Bull Flügtag when it took place in Miami for the first time in 2004. Red Bull Flügtag is a unique event in which participants spend six to eight weeks designing and building handmade, human-powered flying machines to launch off the end of a 24-foot ramp into a body of water. ECA generated national and international Hispanic media coverage before, during and after the event.

PRODUCT LAUNCHES
When BriteSmile opened teeth whitening centers in three upscale areas of South Florida, ECA was charged with the launch. We provided media training for the dentists and staff at each center prior to the grand openings. We also secured local print and broadcast feature stories in English and Spanish on the state-of-the-art teeth whitening treatment.

ECA also worked with Procter & Gamble on its launch of Prilosec OTC, a medication for frequent heartburn. Our medical PR team traveled to the four cities in Florida designated to host the "Burntown Challenge," a nationwide educational program that challenged frequent heartburn sufferers to take the right steps to begin to change their life by controlling their heartburn. Media attendance was high in each market, as was community participation.
Similar projects have included: Nestle's Crunch Shaq Hot Shots Camp, the Best Buy small business products initiative and the GM Challenge.
